Amerie Akuffo set her sights on a goal in ninth grade and never let up. Now, as the valedictorian of Gibbs High School, she’s not only graduating at the top of her class but also making history as the school’s first BETA program valedictorian and the first Black female valedictorian since integration.

The Fourth Annual PCSFF videos have been judged, and the tallies are in! We are excited to announce this year's PCSFF Finalists.
If you see your video listed on the attached document… CONGRATULATIONS! You are a finalist in this year’s competition! Please spread the word to participants, staff, parents, friends, and families. (A shareable flyer is also attached.) Be sure to notify families as soon as possible so they can make arrangements to attend the show.
If your video did not advance to the final round, that doesn’t mean you can’t attend the ceremony; we would love to see ALL participants there!
The Pinellas County Student Film Festival Awards Ceremony will be held on Monday, May 18, 2026, in the SPC Digitorium (UP building) at the C.W. Bill Young University Partnership Center, 9200 113th Street, Seminole, FL 33772.
Ceremony Times
Elementary School: 5:30 pm to 6:30pm
Middle & High Schools: 6:45 pm to 7:30pm
